Dragon Mask ANTENNA?
Didn't know where exactly to put this thread, hope this is the right place.
Anyway - I was dying my Dragon Mask in order to get it to match my armor and upon applying the desired mix an antenna showed up. It's pretty annoying. More so because it never showed up when I used different dye mixes on the mask. Current dye mix is "orange+grey+silver". I've tried dying it with base dyes in hope that the antenna would disappear, but no luck. Has anyone had the same problem with their Dragon Mask? Can this be fixed?
I haven't tried making another Dragon Mask at the hat guy. I'll give it a try in the evening, if he's still there. If this antenna can't be fixed, can I have my Jade Wind Orbs back, pretty please?

Yeah most people have basic cable in the states.
Oh and, that happened because orange dye is well, not appealing.

As you can see, I'm not in the States.
As for the oragne dye - it's a matter of personal preference, is it not? This antenna appeared when I applied the "orange+grey+silver" mix to it. I've dyed the mask pink, green, yellow, etc. many times before but none of those dyes or mixes caused the antenna to appear. Maybe it has something to do with the grey dye.

Adding a black to that mix would of made it match better.

LoL... I thought the thread was about trying to put the Grenth Horns with the Dragon Mask to get an Antenna... I need to sleep now I guess. Waking up in the middle of night to be there for the Finale has gotten to me.

Good idea. I'll give it a try in the evening.
Just hope that the antenna will disappear.

You sure it isn't just a graphics glitch/jump? My game does that when changing armor. I'll check one myself.

I think simply making a new mask at the Hat NPC would fix the bug, the dye mix isn't very expensive so it not much of a waste to get a new mask

That's actually a Canthan Secret Police Mind Control Antenna. Ron Howard will tell you to do things for them via that antenna.

I wouldn't. See below...
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...&postcount=194
To the OP, I had this identical problem on my Tyrian ele's mask. I dyed it silver on the day, never dyed it since and that bug showed up a few months ago. Then when I took it out to look at the other day before copying it at the npc I noticed it had almost gone away again. So no, I don't think it has anything to do with dye. I posted about it in the Q&A forum at the time, but I can't find the thread now..

Ehmmm.. yes indeed it does, lol.
Still can't find the thread but here's the glitch a few months ago and now..
Left: Old, Right: New screenshot.
So it has definitely lessened for whatever reason, definitely not dye as I've only ever dyed it the once during the Dragon Festival..
So hold out for now, cataphract, you might find it goes away on it's own.

Well, I crafted Helene a new mask at the NPC in LA. Alas, it too had an antenna. I switched to my mes only to find her mask didn't have it and a new crafted one didn't have an antenna too. Is Helene jinxed? Is she blessed? Why is she using a Fiery Dragon Sword? What *is* Willis talking about? So many questions, so few antennaless Dragon Masks.
